Obituary of Norma Virginia Morton Livingston

We are blessed to announce Norma M. Livingston has gone to Heaven to be with her Lord on Oct 28th, 2021. Norma was born in St Catherine, FL on August 10th, 1933, and was the second daughter of James Ira Caleb & Louise Delores (Patsy) Revels Morton. In 1952 Norma married her high school sweetheart, Polk County Educator William F (Bill) Livingston who passed away at an early age. They moved to Winter Haven, FL in 1960 where they raised three children: Jana, Beth, and Bill. Norma was preceded in death by her siblings Iris, Hazel, Brenda, and James Elbert (Buddy), and survived by her sisters, Carolyn, Ruth, and Patricia (Trish). She is also survived by her three children, three grandchildren; Jacob, Atley & Yazmin and two great grandchildren; Vanessa and Michael. She is mourned by her daughter-in-law Julie, and sons-in-law; Randy and Mike. Norma Livingston was a Christian woman, known by her friends and family to be kind, humble, patient, accepting, and generous - all fruits of the Holy Spirit. She retired from both the City of Winter Haven as an Insurance and Pay Specialist and as a Transcriptionist for Winter Haven Hospital. She was a country woman who loved to cook & share her creations with others, read, watch old movies and the color red. When young, she loved to fish and sew. She was a positive person with a kind voice, made deep friendships and loved to give hugs! We celebrate her passing over for her and at the same time are sad because she will be missed. Norma's favorite books were: The Bible - Modern English Version and A Shepherd Looks at Psalm 23 by Phillip Keller. Her favorite Bible chapter was Psalms 23; A Psalm of David known as "The Lord is My Shepherd". Her favorite Hymn was "My Jesus, I Love Thee."
