Obituary of Michael David Dye

Michael David Dye (62), was born on October 24th, 1958 and was entered into eternity September 28th, 2021. Those who knew Michael, endearingly referred to him as "Jr High". He was the seventh of nine children, born to Robert and Geneva Dye. Junior high will lovingly be remembered as a free spirit, with a big heart. He was always willing to pitch in and lend a helping hand regardless of the task at hand. Junior High, loved to cut up with friends and loved ones! What a zany sense of humor he shared with everyone around. Junior High was the favorite uncle of all the nieces and nephews. Junior High's passion was fishing, no matter fresh or salt water, "Game on", or "Bring it on", was the motto. Family competitions separated the trash-talkers from the skill setters and the pot winners when the money was involved. Every Dye child was patiently taught, and tutored by the master fisherman himself, "Daddy Dye, even where there was a risk of catching a hook in the ear or having to unwind a birds-nest mess on an open face reel. Junior High's go to honey holes included area lakes, but the epic mega center for the most cherished memories was definitely Englewood!! Junior High leaves behind his most prized possession which is his olny son, Michael Wayne, of Bellefonte, Pennsylvania, and grand children Michael wayne, and little Miss Mia. Surviving siblings include Donna Strickland, Judy Douberley and Art, Mary Miller and Ted, Bobby Dye, Teresa Buie and Jim, and John Dye. There's a host of nieces and nephews and extended family that will all sorely miss "Jr. High". Preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Geneva Dye and two beloved sisters, Susan and Barbara. A special shout out to Nick and Emily for all the TLC that they extended to Mike, in his time of need! Go rest high on that mountain, brother until we meet again.
