Obituary of Jerry Alvin Lehman

Jerry Alvin Lehman (aged 82), AKA Frog, peacefully passed away in the arms of his wife of 37
years, Betty Lehman (Goldman), surrounded by his family at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida
on Thursday, March 24th, 2022 at 5:43pm. He leaves behind his children Jimmie Lehman, Gary
Parrish, Becky Lehman, Judy (Chris) Poulsen, Theresea Lehman, Cheryl (Jim) Wirth, Russell
(Miranda) Lehman, Kelly (Mike) Cook, Christy (Jamey) Martin, Barbara (Nick) Kiebach,
Jennifer (Mark) McCarty, and Karen Lehman. He also leaves behind 30 grandchildren, 30
great-grandchildren, and the love and support of his brother-in-law Paul Goldman.
Born to Russell and Ora (Becker) Lehman, an only child. Jerry grew up to serve our country in
the United States Air Force. Upon returning home from his service, he worked for Caterpillar as
a machinist in the Mossville, IL plant until he retired.
After retirement he moved to Florida where he worked at Walt Disney World, and lived a good
life while fishing and playing golf. He enjoyed the games, but truly appreciated the connections
and friendships he formed within the community.
Frog was a remarkable and compassionate person who cared for his family and friends. He will
be sorely missed by those who loved and knew him.
